Looking at a Cordless Power tool, by GRIP, not familiar with that brand of power tools. Anyone own a GRIP, and how do you compare it to a SKIL, or similar brand Power Tool?

U.S. power tools run on 110v 60hz. U.K. power is 240v 50hz.
Will I be able to run and use my U.S. power tools here in Scotland? Or will I need to buy all new U.K. rated tools?

I will be in Europe for awhile and have to use power tools (sanders, saws, rotary tool) while I am there, I am considering getting a power converter (220 to 110 1600watts) to use my US tools there. Any other Ideas on how to accomplish this? Or does anyone know a place to buy cheap EU power tools in the US?
I am a bit worried about using the converter as I have read sometimes they overheat so any info would be great. Thanks

In the near future I want to start making wood crafts and sell them at craft shows just as a side job. It’s something I’ve always been interested in and I want to get an idea on how much it would cost me to get it started by making a list of power tools machinery I would need. I already have an idea of what I might need but maybe more experienced people can name something I haven’t thought of.

My brother wants to know. He’s interested in trying this out as a hobby and now I’m curious. What types of tools would you need? How difficult would it be? Is it much different than building with power tools?
