I have had good luck with Ryobi Power Tools- Dewalt is great too
i use variouse brands of tools all my life everything is subject to failure i buy at places that if it breaks i can return it everthing is not bad just becuase of a name i by cheap and usually get more use out of it and then if lost or stolen its cheaper to replace good luck
Ryobi, Dewalt, Milwaukee…all very good brands available at Lowe’s or Home Depot. Black and Decker is decent for the money. If you use power tools a lot then spend the coin on the better brands. If you’re a weekend DIY’er, then opt for the Black and Decker stuff. It’s cheap and will last a while.
dewalt is on the downslide.ryobi is still really good.believe it or not, hitachi makes good stuff.
I too am a fan of Dewalt. But not of Home Getto, or other such outlets. A good place to look for all types of tools and related supplies is at Grainger Industrial Supply. They are all over the place and very reliable for replacement/warrenty issues and stuff.
Look them up at :
hope this is of assistance,

I have several cordless DeWalt tools. And I’m pretty happy with them. I bought several of them last year. The reason is I thought about getting the cordless nailer, for small repairs and doors. And I still haven’t bought it. After a little research, I’m having second thoughts. I’d suggest looking at Milwaukee or Hitachi. And Bosch. I’ve had several Bosch corded tools, and have been very happy with them. One thing I do is check Amazon for reviews, when considering a half way expensive purchase.
I use Dewalt too, but have added Hitachi to my collection. I like the weight balance, feel, and power they exhibit. I’ve heard of contractors with problems of the rubber grip separating from the plastic case/shell, but to date, I have not experienced this (and I’ve had the tools for over a year now). I also use Makita- a tank and have never had any problems with it (only to replace batteries).
As A professional contractor I can vouch for Dewalt. Drills hold a charge for a long time and great torque on the 18v. If you can afford it - HILTI is awesome.
Never had a problem with DeWalt or Porter-Cable. I think Makita is way over rated!
Dewalt is a good brand.
Another personal favorite is Bosch.
